History of the Israeli/Palestinian Conflict
1. Israel became a nation in 1312 BCE, two thousand years before the rise of Islam.
2. Arab refugees in Israel began identifying themselves as part of a Palestinian people in 1967, two decades after the establishment of the modern State of Israel.
3. Since the Jewish conquest in 1272 BCE, the Jews have had dominion over the land for one thousand years with a continuous presence in the land for the past 3,300 years.
4. The only Arab dominion since the conquest in 635 CE lasted no more than 22 years.
5. For over 3,300 years, Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital Jerusalem has never been the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. Even when the Jordanians occupied Jerusalem, they never sought to make it their capital, and Arab leaders did not come to visit.
6. Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in Tanach, the Jewish Holy Scriptures. Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Koran.
7. King David founded the city of Jerusalem. Mohammed never came to Jerusalem.
8. Jews pray facing Jerusalem. Muslims pray with their backs toward Jerusalem.
9. In 1948 the Arab refugees were encouraged to leave Israel by Arab leaders promising to purge the land of Jews. Sixty-eight percent left without ever seeing an Israeli soldier.
10. The Jewish refugees were forced to flee from Arab lands due to Arab brutality, persecution, and slaughter.
11. The number of Arab refugees who left Israel in 1948 is estimated to be around 630,000. The number of Jewish refugees from Arab lands is estimated to be the same.
12. Arab refugees were intentionally not absorbed or integrated into the Arab lands to which they fled, despite the vast Arab territory. Out of the 100,000,000 refugees since World War II, theirs is the only refugee group in the world that has never been absorbed or integrated into their own people's lands. Jewish refugees were completely absorbed into Israel, a country no larger than the state of New Jersey.
13. The Arabs are represented by eight separate nations, not including the Palestinians. There is only one Jewish nation. The Arab nations initiated all five wars and lost. Israel defended itself each time and won.
14. The PLO's Charter still calls for the destruction of the State of Israel. Israel has given the Palestinians most of the West Bank land, autonomy under the Palestinian Authority, and has supplied them with police and weapons.
15. Under Jordanian rule, Jewish holy sites were desecrated and the Jews were denied access to places of worship. Under Israeli rule, all Muslim and Christian sites have been preserved and made accessible to people of all faiths.
16. The UN Record on Israel and the Arabs: of the 175 Security Council resolutions passed before 1990, 97 were directed against Israel.
17. Of the 690 General Assembly resolutions voted on before 1990, 429 were directed against Israel.
18. The UN was silent while 58 Jerusalem Synagogues were destroyed by the Jordanians.
19. The UN was silent while the Jordanians systematically desecrated the ancient Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives.
20. The UN was silent while the Jordanians enforced an apartheid-like a policy of preventing Jews from visiting the Temple Mount and the Western Wall.
21. The Israelis purchased the empty lands from the Turks, starting in 1850s. The Turks were glad to get rid of it because it was worthless. Within 20 years, the Israelis, through some monumentally hard work, got parts of it back into agricultural production.
22. Workers migrated from other areas of the Ottoman Empire to work for the Israelis. (These were renamed Palestinians in 1962 by Arafat). They didn’t “own the land” nor have a presence there prior to the Israelis terraforming. Until 1962, they were called by their ethnicity: Egyptians, Syrians, Hashemites, etc.
23. The San Remo 1920 treaty graciously “gave” the Israelis the lands they had already purchased and included all of what is now Jordan. The UK reneged on the treaty provisions and “gave” most of the land to the Hashemites and the Palestinians, and that area is now called Jordan.
24. The Muslim workers were asked to stay and help when the Arab nations invaded in 1948. Many did and are Arab Israelis with full citizenship and rights that other Arabs can only dream of. The others didn’t and became what were later known as Palestinians.
25. Israel was attacked by its Arab neighbors in coordinated wars in 1948, 1956, 1967, and 1973. In each case, those attacks were defeated.
26. Arab and Jewish refugees: Arabs were not driven out of their homes. Following the UN decision on Partition in 1948, the Arab refugees were encouraged to leave Israel by Arab leaders, promising to purge the land of Jews.
They argued that an “Arab presence” would only get in the way of the planned devastation. Sixty-eight percent left without ever seeing an Israeli soldier.
27. The “Palestinians” (or Hamas, the political arm), have yet to EVER bargain in good faith. From Oslo to 2000 alone, they did more than 10,000 attacks on the innocent. There are Palestinian victims, but they are victimized by Hamas, not Israel. They are used as human shields and indoctrinated to believe that Israel must be destroyed.
1937 – Peel Commission. Offered a -two state solution. Palestinians were offered 96% of the West Bank. They said NO.
1947 – UN Partition Plan. Israel establishes itself as a state. Palestinians say NO to becoming its own state.
1967 – Israel took over the West Bank to provide a barrier to stop the missile attacks. Palestinians still said NO to becoming a state.
1993 – Oslo Accords. Israel gave land to Palestinians to help establish a two state solution and help the Palestinians to set up a government. They said NO.
1996 – PLO declares it wants to eliminate Israel.
2000 – Israel again offers 96% of the West Bank, PLO once again, NO.
2005 – Israel withdraws 8500 from the West Bank. Palestinians launched over 946 attacks on Israel and kills hundreds.
2008 – Israel offers 100% of the West Bank to the Palestinians, again, they say, NO.
Why so much anti-Semitism?
The plight of the "Palestinian People" is a manufactured crisis that the Arab world has encouraged and exploited for 50 years as a way to weaken Israel and limit Western influence in the Mid-East.
The Arab nations are not after peace. They are after the annihilation of Israel.
Muhammad himself declared ‘the last hour will not come before the Muslims fight the Jews and the Muslims kill them.’
Muslims believe the 21st century to be the ‘century of Islam’ and that the annihilation of Israel is simply the precursor to conquest in the West.
The war in the Middle East is not about land, it is about religion. Their intention is still the same as that penned 3000 years ago.
Psalms 83: 2-4
2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
The gospel represents “freedom”. It represents freedom from sin, freedom to make choices, freedom to live peaceably; freedom for man to govern himself.
It is a political and spiritual concept intertwined.
In the pre-mortal world we fought the battle against Lucifer for agency – the freedom to choose good or evil.
Today, if Satan is to stop freedom from spreading around the world, he must stop Israel and he must stop the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Israel represents freedom in the Old Testament region of the world, and is the only democracy in that region; and Satan must stop Christianity from spreading to the rest of the world, particularly those who have the priesthood and can offer freedom to those who are on the other side of the veil.
We fought Lucifer once and won. We will fight him and win again. We must not abandon our friends of Jewish heritage, the Israelites. We must defend what they represent to the world – freedom. We must defend America and what she represents to the world – freedom.
